A good friend once described my practice as an estafette run, a comparison I couldn’t agree with more.
While I work across multiple media, my practice returns to recurring themes of environment, change, and reflection. The ambiguity of these terms is what appeals to me, as it allows for movement, exchange, and shifting focus. My works stand on their own, but they don’t stand alone. I prioritize relationality and work toward a dialogical approach. Art-making, for me, is akin to a conversation between materials and meaning, maker and audience, and the work and its surroundings.
